I'm wanting to take a Mark III with a Burris Fastfire III on it. The only thing I'm worried about is hearing the hits since I had difficulty during the last match with a 9mm.

Trust your sight/dot. No need to hear the hits.

With a dot, your focus should be on the plate, anyway, so you should see your hits.

Are you guys still going to this? Do they cancel it if is raining? Lightening? I was fully planning on going but before I walked out the door I looked at the weather and I think that Arcadia/OKC GC is going to get it hard right around 11.

We tried. We shot 2 stages and called if off. I think I was in first place.

Well we got to to third of six stages and the match was canceled. Good thing it was, their were ducks swimming across the range. Burk blamed Feegee for the rain since it has rained at every steel challenge match Feegee competed at. Still had a great time.
