Thinking about going to the steel challenge at USSA on Sept. 2nd. Haven't done anything like this but it sounds fun. Anybody else going out there?

Alexander(My son) shot there today, lots of fun in the sun!!! From the look at the scores, he atleast placed High Junior Shooter. Not bad for his second run at it.

Had a great time! Took my son with me and he really enjoyed it too! Not sure what the final scores are but it was good to meet some great people out there! Thanks Ryan for all the info and showing us how it works.

Your welcome the final scores are posted here. http://www.boomershooter.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9169-scsa-ussa-9-2-12/

Well I guess I’ve got some serious work to do to improve the time frames. Probably need to change my stance and definitely practice at a greater distance from the targets. Also need to look at different sights for quicker target acquisition. I normally wear bifocals, basically glorified reading glasses. I think with the right pistol sights I can use standard safety glasses. I can see this sport becoming very addictive.

I also wear bifocals. I called the Decot Hy-Wide guys for glasses. They are the best piece of equipment in my range bag.
