I invite all to come to the steel challenge match at the Stephens County Rifle and Pistol Club on 5/11. We will be shooting 4 stages that are yet to be determined. Round count is 100 if you are awesome (or slow and accurate). Fee is $10 for the first gun and $5 for additional, and if you have never shot a steel challenge match at this range the fee is waived. Set up will start about 8 am and any help will be greatly appreciated. Sign ups start at 9:30 and shooting starts at 10. I hope to see you there, Travis.

The Stages to be shot this month are Showdown, Five to Go, Speed Option, and Pendulum.

David G. and I will be going to Revolver Nationals this weekend so Jon and the boys will need all the extra help that anyone would like to provide in setting up the stages.

I'll see you at the SCRAP USPSA/IPSC Match on the 19th.

Hello Raford, thanks for the info about which stages we will be shooting. Jon and I are going to set up and you are sure correct about help being appreciated. I can't wait to go shoot this match. Good luck to you and David at Nationals.

Sorry Guys and Girls but I need to correct the stages that we will be shooting this month at SCRAP Steel Challenge. We will be shooting Accelerator, Five-to-Go, Showdown, and Pendulum. We alternate between these four and the other four stages each month and in my earlier message I inadvertantly listed Speed Option instead of Accelerator.

Hope this helps.

Not a problem Renato. It was good to meet you and I really enjoyed the shoot. I shot pretty well with my .22, but I have got to do something about the sights on my new Glock 35. Just got the gun on Wednesday and I shot my first round through it right after the timer on Accelerator. Can you say Trial by Fire. I don't think I shot it bad on Accelarator and Showdown, but when we got to 5 to Go and Pendulum those circular plates just ate my damn lunch. I am so hooked on this steel challenge that I have got to order some dies for .40 S&W this week so I can afford to keep shooting the Glock. I really love it so much that if all I can shoot is my .22 then I will, but I really want to give USPSA a shot. That will probably happen next month because I don't believe I will buy dies and components before next weekend.
