Steel Challenge at OKCGC - 1/17/15

It'll soon be time again for Steel Challenge (weather permitting).

Steel challenge is a great way to way to keep the fundamentals sharp for the more experienced shooters or to introduce new & Jr. shooters to the shooting sports.



Registration:
online or in person prior to match start

If you're shooting 2 guns, please register 2x.


We're planning on 6 stages, 5 strings each, 5 targets per string.
Approx. 150 Min. Round Count

Rimfire:
Pistol/Rifle (no tube fed rifles)

Centerfire:
Pistol Caliber Only (Carbines must be 9mm/40/45acp)


Divisions:
Rimfire Open
Rimfire Irons

Centerfire Open
Centerfire Limited
Centerfire Revolver

Rimfire Rifle Open
Rimfire Rifle Irons



10AM start time [sign-in will start about 9:30]
Setup will begin Sat. at 8:30 & all help is appreciated

$15 for club members, $20 for non-members, $5 for a second gun (2 guns max)
$5 for the kiddos.

Starting with January's match we will now allow 9mm/40/45acp pistol caliber carbines.
Nothing against suppressors, but they're a pain in the ass for the RO, so lets leave them aside until after the match.

As always, no steel core ammo & no F/A :- .
 
Please help spread the word to your Steel Challenge buddies that may not frequent this website. Tell them to bring the carbines and help start this thing off right!

LOL, wasn't planning on shooting it. Did it at our range on some steel. One time only. Had to take the steel home and fix it.:D
 
nope, Jr's are under 18

For online registration, if you are an adult male you won't check any of the jr, senior, lady etc boxes.
Just leave that section blank

How long do these kinds of matches typically last? I'm trying to figure out if I might have enough time. The wife has some things planned with the in-laws for later in the day.
