Springfield EMP 40

Rented an EMP 40 at the range. It was so new, the lady had trouble opening the slide to give it to me and there was plenty of oil on it. Felt like I needed a shower when I left. I must say, I would own one in a heartbeat. At 30' (10 yards), I was holding a decent group, even shooting one handed at times. The grip was still plenty long because of the 8 round mag. The pinky was not dangling. Only grievence, the sights were not bright enough for my eyes in the low light of the indoor range. I could use them, but was not a natural alignment.

Thanks for this report... I've been wondering and considering one. A little steep on the price tho, so I'd need to be sure...

Not sure where you are, ATP in Summerville is where I went. They had a 9mm and a 40 for rent. Both equally as new.

My wife and I shot one last year at a range in Wisconsin and we both loved it. If I had the money lying around, I'd definitely own one for when she gets her cwp.
