Springfield Armory 1911

I've been looking at a Springfield Armory 1911. My only hesitation is that I would like a rubber grip on it instead of the wood grips. I've found plenty of grips that will fit the Colt but nothing for the Springfield, which brings me to my question. Do rubber grips exist for the Springfield Armory 1911?

Yup. For all the 1911 brands.

parts is parts (mostly) for the 1911 pistol. Every now and then you may get ahold of a grip panel that need a little work so the hole slips over the bushing correctly.

Stars and Llamas are the usual exeptions... they look 1911'ish but have very few parts that will swap into a Colt-based 1911.

I used the Hogue finger-groove grip on both of the springfields I had, and they worked just fine.

The grips are all the same for 1911 with the same sized frame...

Only major difference is the Officer vs Commander/GI size frames. Everything else should fit universally, except as noted above.

If your looking at THAT particular gun, those cross cannon grips look pretty sweet. They will provide more grip than you realize, if YOUR grip is correct.
