I bought a Wilson Combat Custom-Tune Spring Kit for a Ruger GP100.
I've been watching instructional videos on how to do this, and I feel pretty confident I can handle it. My question is, are there any real drawbacks to having a lighter trigger on a revolver?
I have a spring set for a S&W 642 as well and I've heard that too light of a spring can cause light primer strikes and cause the round to not fire.
Double action improvement is my primary goal.
Anybody have personal experience of before and after a spring kit?
