What Special or occasional indoor match would you like to shoot?

A special Carrygun match?

A Tactical 2-Gun rimfire match? One gun?

A Tactical 2-Gun pistol caliber carbine and handgun?

Other?

Dave, Heartland just isn't big enuff to run battle rifles. I say stick to 22's and handgun matches. I shot the first tactical rifle match and the .223/5.56 were just over bearing.

Which is why it wasn't one of the suggestions.

The Rimfire 2-Gun was fun, but there wasn't much lead time, due to it's taking the place of the 3-Gun match cancelled at the last minute. This resulted in a handful of shooters showing up, which made it difficult to gauge the real interest level.

I'd be up for some small bore shooting.... If the stages are revolver and bolt action freindly.

Alas... I have traded all my semi-auto .22's and am barren at this time.......

And any extra time behind a Carry Gun is always appreciated...

A Tactical 2-Gun rimfire match? I would be up for 2 gun with a .22 rifle and/or a centerfire pistol. The downside of rimfire pistols is most folks don't have holsters for them and they only hold 10 or so rounds and reloads suck! One gun? A rimfire rifle match would be fun again!

A Tactical 2-Gun pistol caliber carbine and handgun? I think you could run a 2 gun match with the following 4 divisions adn make everyone happy. Both guns rimfire, rifle rimfire/pistol centerfire, rifle pistol caliber/pistol rimfire, rifle pistol caliber/pistol centerfire.

Other?

For example, engage targets T1-T9 from the position of riding on Jesse's back while he trots around on all fours (apple in mouth). Only downside is we'd have to sweep for brass between all the shooters.

But on a serious note, those four divisions seem as though they would satisfy anybody and everybody

liking these 3

Not realy interested in rifle pistol caliber/pistol rimfire....but I'd still play

I like the 2-gun match with the following 3 divisions:
  • Both guns rimfire
  • rifle rimfire/pistol centerfire
  • rifle pistol caliber/pistol centerfire

DING DING DING... We have a winner!

If I get my weekends cleared to where I can start attending these heartland matches again, I'm willing to share my guns, just bring FMJ ammo.

The 2-gun rimfire match we had at the end of July was great ! I found out REAL fast when shooting the mover that a scope was not what I needed on my rifle. I hope more people will show up for the next .22 match.

A suggestion. Regular semi auto pistol match. At some point of one stage, with a unloaded revolver and shells on a table. At the buzzer go for it. Or reverse combination.
