Spartanburg CWP Trainer "Irresponsible Gun Owner of the Day"

Saw a clip on the WSPA 11 o'clock news about an accident at Spartanburg CWP Trainer Skip Smith's class. Then I Googled it and found the incident got him the title of "Irresponsible Gun Owner of the Day" on TTAG.

This was back in February; I must have missed it. The clip I saw on the news was a follow up. The victim said she had no hard feelings, but said "no comment" when asked if there would be a lawsuit.

Is this the same event?

It's hard to believe the investigation yielded the result of "oops".

I have severe problems with this statement. Every gun accident short of a chamber explosion from unknown poor metallurgy is preventable.
