Sons of Guns

OK the gun/light in a case thing was pretty stupid. I want to see them make soe real life guns like I woudl actually purchase. The weird stuff is just plain weird.

These angle grinder and dremmel gunsmiths are hard for me to watch with all the goofy stuff I've seen built. I've never seen them use a lathe or a mill or anything like that.

this just hit netflix streaming (so i am just now seeing the show).... interesting show, they are a very well ran business. they set proper expectations and deliver, along with a good profit margin. Step does a good job of selling large ticket items without pressure and is not afraid to talk money....

My favorite is 'their 1911' that's scheduled to be released. Of course, with very little effort, one will find it's a STI Trojan/Spartan.

I agree. They'll never get my business because I don't want my guns being hacked on with angle grinders, and I hope that's duracoat in those paint guns and not just some automotive paint.

The "modernized" Tommy gun??? really? why would you ruin a peice of American history like that? they even painted the wood grip and buttstock black to try to make it look tacticool. blastphemy

Did you guys notice that they have a Haas CNC mill now? They gots the equipment, but they have no clue on how to use it. They had to call Haas to come in and not only program the part, but they had to machine it too. This was on their "mini-shotgun" episode. They attempted to make a minigun with saiga shotguns.

Sure beats watching Glee, the more gun related shows the better. I think Cyrwus should start a reality TV show. Maybe Benelli cat lady or something like that would be a good title. I dreamed last night he took my 21 inch barrel off my Benelli and put a 24 on instead.

I officially not only dislike this show, and think it's bordering on being bad for the shooting community. The moron anti-gunners are going to keep this in their quiver and now think that just about any round on this planet will blow up a car. Yeah...you and I know that it's a ton of tannerite and gasoline, but still. Thankfully, they occasionally clarify that getting Class 3 and higher firearms require special permits, but I'm sure this will be omitted when the time comes.

Well over here in Lalaland, we can see S-O-G too and to me it all boils down to "re-inventing the wheel" 99 times out of 100. Just my 2 eurocents, YMMV.
Last night I found out that we can get American Guns too. Still have to see an episode, so what's the general consensus on them?

This thread is total bs without pics. Funny pics on the interweb is the only reason for this show imo.

Started watching this last night and really enjoying it. I like all the cool fun toys they build. :)

Sons of guns has done about as much for the shooting community as "call of duty"
That and some D-bag makes reference to it and my last name at least once a week...
It's a no-go for me.
