Sons of Guns

Is he the most well renowned instructor in the country?

Is it just me or is that Katana about $800 over priced?

Yes very over priced. Anybody can put a light weight barrel and forearm on an AR, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people spending $1800 for a lower that is laser etched with KATANA and a pencil barrel.

Wow totally missed the other half of the question LOL

Yes the Katana is massively over priced... People are only paying for the name...

Personally the standard M4 to me doesn't weigh that much... Of course I used to carry a M4 w/ a 203 ;)

Yeah that Katana was just ugly on top of being expensive. It Uses the stock grip for crying out loud. Plus I thought Katana was a gahey name when Suzuki used it for their mid ranged under powered cheap sportbike in the '90's.

It's even gheyer in the context of "A Samuria sword for the mordern warrior"... Give me an effing break! The "extensive" testing that Tiger put it through was ridiculous too. I think this particular episode is a poor reflection on gun owners in gerneral.

I can not belive they cut up the tommy gun like they did. The more I watch the show the more I dislike it.

I'm beginning to think this about more than this one episode. With all the "I can do 10 of these for xxx" crap it sounds like some sort of arms bazaar. I mean all of us know it's not, and that they are legit, but the general public probably doesn't realize all the C3 paper work and stuff that goes on behind the scenes and the wait times. It gives the general impression that just anyone can go buy as many suppressed full auto SBR's as they want and walk out the door with them if they have the cash. They really should do something on the requirements and background checks and ditch some of the drama.

And yes the Katana was lame, but I have to give them a small kudo for the integrally suppressed AK. They did do a little work on that one, but then the "testing" was a joke. A trauma plate and an aquarium full of gel beads? And that proves what? But the gun was kind of cool.

my opinion is up in the air on this show still I really cant stand to hear the daughters voice anymore.

Finally caught up on it last night... I like the show because we need all the pro-gun stuff we can get...

That being said they don't completely leave the process out (told the Sheriff it'd be a few weeks before the Frankin-Tommys paperwork would be complete) and shows that owning a gun is more of a responsibility by telling the chick that was robbed to get some training first...
Even if that & the short barreled Saiga thing were staged I don't care because it's showing responsible dealer/customer relations to the viewers...

Yes the daughter had a minor "gun savvy" hotness to her initially... Now the "yes I'm gun savvy, butI'm a spoiled daddy's girl.... REALLY spoiled" is shining through much brighter LOL

I still like the show, some of the episodes I wouldn't watch again. Some of the stuff they build, I think is just silly. like that contraption will all the tubes that shot model rockets. But I keep the DVR scheduled to record

I agree, Just wish they would quit making the public think that some of the things they pull off can be done overnight!
I guess as a dad i would spoil her also :)

Still will record and watch to see if anything new comes up. Always like that fast forward button.

I can't stand this show anymore the projects and people are just annoying me to much.

Ditto. All of the people are annoying as hell. I can't stand to hear their voices any more, let alone look at them. No more for me.
