Oh sure, the ATF loses thousands of guns in Mexico and it's all good, but these clowns... I mean fine fellows lose a measly 10 guns and get the shaft. I see how it is. :?

I'm not sure the story is legit. I've seen other info posted by reliable sources stating otherwise.

It's difficult to imagine they have become criminals and sold 10 guns on the black market.
It's far more likely they've been stolen. I guess that is out of the purvue of the BATFE.
I agree that Red Jacket has the responsibility to manage the guns, the fact they discoverd the robery in a Fed check does not prove criminal action on the part of the gun shop owners.

What was the final verdict/judgement of this complaint? This is one side of the story. I'd like to hear the other side as well. I've known some folks who did this to protect their business from being stolen by "shareholders" with slick lawyers, not to mention vindictive spouses. :lol:

I haven't been able to find anymore on it and what I have found leads you to sites that require payment to see further. I do know the charge falls under the Securities Exchange Act. It's also possible it was settled out of court.

Like you, I would like to think his sense of Honor would prevent him from blatantly screwing someone. I know several people I thought were incorruptible who fell to the temptations of wealth and/or power. Sex has turned a few heads too.

Another thing to think about is the Discovery channel perhaps trying to keep a lid on all of this to keep their ratings and whatever profit they're getting from the show.
