Sonic Cleaning

I have one of the industrial type stainless steel sonic cleaners and I use the Lyman sonic cleaner solution. It does a great job but I still have to scrap out some of the fouling from the comp on my open gun. I don't shoot my .45 enough to know if it does a good job on it or not.

Will sonic cleaners clean the Copper & Fowling out of 1911 barrel?
I'll let you borrow mine if you want to try it. I never use it anymore because it doesn't fit the hard to clean parts: slide and frame.

Thanks for the offer Mitch.
I picked up the Lyman Turbo 2500

I have ordered the Lyman sonic cleaner solution (Thanks Grant)

I will let everyone no how well it works.

That model is identical to the Chicago electric sold at harbor freight. It works pretty good for what it cost. I gave mine to my dad when I got a better one. I have a crest industrial model it works very good for loosing gunk up in hard to clean places. I use the hornady parts and brass cleaner
