Troy is best known for their components: sights, rails, stocks, etc. Pretty high priced. This is their first complete rifle, exclusively at Dick's.

As of right now, I'm planning to be at the store at midnight tomorrow night. The guy behind the counter said he's sure they'd still have them then, so if I wanted the gun sooner than waiting for it to ship, I need to come in on black Friday to pick it up. The only way I won't get it right now is if PSA puts on some kind of really good sale...but I doubt that will happen.

I'll post tons of pictures when I get it, I really don't know anything about AR functionally, but I'm excited to learn!

I should add that I stopped by the store and looked at it tonight. It seems like a pretty good rifle to me, keep in mind I've only shot an AR once before and read enough to be slightly dangerous. It has a FF hand guard and I believe it's a mid-length gas system. I'm not a huge fan of the stock, but it works for me for now, and it can be changed later on.

I was there at midnight and they were sold out by the time I got to the counter. This elephant dung is getting really old, and I'll never be out on another damn black Friday...

It's kind of a long story, but I was able to order one of the Troy AR's from Dick's last night. I now may be waiting up to nine weeks for it to come in. I'm crossing my fingers and praying that it comes in before Christmas.
