Recently I was asked why I needed a gun or guns.
I was told that many great men made huge strides, peacefully, without guns.

I reminded this individual that JFK, Martin Luther King Jr and Gandhi, all killed by an assassin's bullet. He turned and walked away without another word spoken.

Great strides can be made peacefully, the proper use of guns can make sure it stays that way.

Need guns? because of the # of thugs on the loose

in my case it is more a ?"want " than " need" If I just needed a gun--I would own ONE. I want a nic e collection of toys. I enjoy our sport/hobby very much and rely on its distraction from everyday life and the issues it brings

try asking a woman why she "needs" more than one purse or pair of shoes.

Well, while I won't give the number, I have considerably more 1911's than I do pairs of shoes. More S&W N frames than purses. I really needed them though.
