Yep Brandon, had the meds, drank the coffee and kicked the cat! Billet

Tony pointed out that Loki Billets would only fit Loki billets..."just like all othere manufacturers to include J.P." I am pretty sure he was talking about J.P. BILLETS! Might I suggest a reading comrehension class or a
better perscription fror you in place of my meds or caffien intake? :sarcastichand:
Well all of you need meds because some of the JP Billet Uppers and Lowers are propitiatory. The SCR-11 is proprietary. It is a matched set because it doesn't have a charge handle in the rear. The Lower goes up high and covers the rear charge handle location. I asked about this a few weeks ago and they confirmed that so everyone get a pill...

The PSC-11 Upper would be the one to use on a MIL Spec Lower and the CTR-02 Billet Lower will work on any Mil Spec Upper. Basically the Billet set that has a SQUARE Magwell is propitiatory. Makes JP Smart.....

With all the elephant dung I got going on now - including ANOTHER relocation - I could def use some better meds and less caffeine LOL

I did admit I was wrong though so that counts for something right?

he needs a billet upper receiver
Yes this is what I need. LOKI BILLET UPPER

I think only the Billet Loki LWSF upper and lower is Propitiatory. The Forged LWS is mil spec is what I read from there 2012 catalog. I downloaded everything back in December before they shut down the web site.

Yes, the forged Loki receivers are mil-spec

Sigh....I like Brandon response, let,s go halfsies on the meds amigo!

Tedward, J.P. is right up front about the SCR-11. He doesn't sell it as an AR STYLE RIFLE AND THEY DO MAKE A SIDE CHARGE that will fit a regular lower. Now here is the deal. An SCR -11 upper will indeed fit a mil-spec lower, go ahead ask how I know! The only thing that wont work is an SCR-11 lower on a forged upper. The hole spacing is the same and if you cu off the top off an SCR-11 lower it will fit ANY UPPER!! Nothing too proprietary about it.

If you have to CUT, modify it to work makes it proprietary. The PSC-11 is the one for using on a MIL SPEC Lower. it has a side charge and rear charge handle to fill the hole that you would have on a SCR-11 if you put it on a Mil Spec lower. Yes you can put a SCR-11 upper on a Mil Spec lower but ware goggles and a respirator so when the oil and gasses elephant dung out the hole in your face, you won't die.

Come on, cut off on a JP Lower, get a grip and buy the entire gun, don't butcher something that is available....

Send me a PM with your offer. Remember my billet is OD green and I have to disassemble a complete rifle that is very nice to sell it to you.
translastion= Mike, can you take this apart for me? lol!

TedWard, of course you are right! I was just trying to point out that J.P. ISN'T proprietary when it comes to upper lower fit, side chargers aside. I am glad we have you here to explain J.P. products. It is always good to have a factory technician on on on board. I will send all J.P. questions your way and thank you! Can you shed any light on the turn around time yo get a complete rifle?

I've seen Jesse take one apart faster than anyone else ever, but he didn't use a wrench and it didn't look like it'd go back together.
Well looks like he just wants to get rid of the entire gun but no $$ mentioned.

I'll just have a Mil Spec Billet Upper machined, edge cut off by a CNC machine, to have the correct angle to fit. I spoke to a machine shop that makes way more difficult and precision things than what I'm trying to do. He said no problem so I don't have to cut my leg off and sell it on the black market for a Billet Loki Upper.

Once I get this picture post issue figured out on this forum, I'll post a picture and what it costs. The Machine shop said maybe $75 to a 100 bucks. I also took a few pictures of his machine shop and would like to post them soon.

I'm not always right, just know about this because I did my research and been calling about uppers and all my options on this Loki situation. Also I'm not a factory technician, as for the side charge on the SCR-11 I would not have known about the lower being different except the CS told me that. I call, listed and pass on the information. Also not blind to what a Mil Spec upper looks and fits like and take people opinions and research them. Just don't want people to get the wrong idea in case you miss lead someone by accident. Trying to help out is all.

I'm done with the JP topic. There is a JP vendors forum this can move to. I read that too so maybe I'll read your post there. .

Is anyone still looking for Loki Uppers to fit your Loki Billet Lower? I might be able to help you out.
