SLR solo ultralight hand guard?

Looks pretty sexy! At ProAm a few years ago we had to shoot through a really skinny port while kneeling. Skinnier then a handguard. It was close up half size ipsc targets. So We all set or barrel on the port (which I know is a no no but but extreme accuracy wasn't too important being stable was) and bumped the end of our 15" tubes up against the port and held onto the port with our support hand.

My buddy was running a 17" hand. He couldn't reach the end of the tube and tanked that part of the stage because his position was unsupported.

I'm not saying you will ever have to do this but a really long handguard could hurt you at some point. The Samson Evo is a lot cheaper from Make Ready Pro Shop.

I just set up with SLR. I will be trying their adjustable gas blocks on several carbines. Heard good things about them

That reminds me. I have a gas block of they're somewhere. They look badass!

I'd like to know how the gas block works in terms of adjustment and reliability. They look like a really good design. The click adjustment seems like it would beed to be fairly fine on an adjustable gas block.

I will be testing a gas block soon. SOT buddy in Wichita has been running them on suppressed carbines and sbr's to cut back on the excess gas coming back into his face. Claims it works great.
