Ok, before I catch any ridicule here..I'm a very new shotgun shooter. So, cut me some slack.

Ok so, I'm shooting a FN SLP. I have read through the other posts about accessories. But I have a dumb question. In order to shoot buck shot, bird shot, and slugs all through the same gun, what do I need to get? I think a Light modified choke from midway.com is what I need, I just want to make sure. So could someone that also shoots an SLP post a link in a reply to this post directing me to the best product or highest recommended. My SLP will be used for 3 gun shoots, so if someone could help me out I would be much appreciative! Thanks guys.

You don't need anything special to shoot bird, buck and slugs out fo the same gun. You can shoot any of the 3 our of any choke you like. I doubt you will find much need to shoot them out of full chokes very often though.

The easiest thing for a new 3 gunner to do is to buy a Briley Light Modified extended Choke from Tony Wall at the Make Ready Pro Shop and leave that choke in the gun until you learn more about the sport and want to start experimenting with looser chokes on bigger targets etc.

Here is a link to the Make Ready Pro Shop.

Exactly what Jesse said. Then sell that FN SLP and buy a Benelli m2, like I did. Lol.

I'm jk there's nothing Wrong with the SLP.

Ok, thanks for the info Jesse. I'll start there for now.

Wormy- I actually wanted an M2 right off the bat. But my local gun dealer doesn't normally carry Benelli. He called the factory and tried to order an M2 for me and they told him they would only sell to him if he made a $20,000 minimum order. So I said screw that, and went with the SLP. Have been pretty happy so far. The LOP is a little long for me but I'm making due. Thanks again for the help.

I actually liked the lop of the SLP. Now that I switched to the Benelli, it seems way too short. I'm getting used it. I really did like that SLP though it was a bit on the heavy side.

They have 3 different length butt pads. If you need a longer one to try I have all 3 in the garage.

Well..I am what some would consider "vertically challenged". I could go through the process of shortening the stock, but it really isn't that big of deal to me. I'm not good enough yet to blame poor performance on LOP.
