I have cuts on my Glock slide. Bobby Carver with Carver Customs did mine. He works on Glock's, M&P's and XD/XDM's.

I'll have to take my slide off and get some pics. Most of the cuts on mine are hidden by my optic mount.

I wont cut a slide for a rds, and I wont swiss cheese glock or M&P slides unless you show me a TDSA AP1 certificate or come within 10% of my scores at a match

I didn't think of people doing it to look "cool" but that definitely makes sense. I also didn't know if there was an issue of defense vs competition gun.
