Sights? What sights?

Went with a single correction that was a good average between seeing the sights and seeing the target. Should have them back next week. May have to head over to 2A shooting range to try them out after I pick them up.

I had the same problem with bifocals. I did the same as Wes in reverse order. I just had a cheap (60 bucks or so) pair made at eyemart express & had them take their weakest bifocal and put it in upside down on the right side...just show them where you want it centered. It worked well, but they weren't 'official' safety glasses. I then cut down a cheap pair of +1.25 readers from dollar general and hot glued it up high on the right side of my shooting glasses. Used them last Sunday at Heartland and liked them really well.
I noticed those glasses and never got a chance to ask about them.
We tried one contact for distance.. One for close. Drove. Me. Nuts.
Could not read road signs until the last second... And could not see 12 font type in my lap.

Picked up the glasses today. Will be in the city Friday, so plan I plan to head to H&H to see what happens. More later.

Mitch, your more than welcome to try my G24 it's got the Dawson .100 w/red fiber and the .125 wide rear adjustable. The shooting low seemed to always be me being hard on the trigger, at one time I thought about zeroing a little high and right so when I got all excited I'd hit center LOL Later,

Kirk

Fianlly got to try the new lenses at a steel match last weekend. Did a lot better, very few missed targets. Now to get sighted in.

I am actually corrected with the right lens set for the sights and the left lens for the target. Now I am working on shooting with both eyes open. Nothing definitive, but I have taken about 15 - 20 seconds off my total time for steel challenge, and my missed shot count has dropped by about 30. Not that I will ever be a serious competitor, but for now I am having a lot of fun.
