I have a Glock and looking maybe in the future to buy a Springfield XDM and would like to buy a sight removal tool (Glock Factory sites Sujk). Anyone used any of the sight removal tools and have a recommendation?

The tool represented in the "Making Glocks Rock" video is just a modified nut-driver. You can get the tool from Brownell's. The tool that surrounds the frame works well, but I believe that Glock, and maybe others, have a tapered dovetail, and if you don't know which direction to push, you may end up jamming the sight in place.

all dovetails are tapered. some more than others and the sights/barrel bands etc. are supposed to always go in from the right side.

I use this to install sights, from Brownells:

I use H&H gunsmiths for removal as the factory installed sights most likely will not come off in one piece!!!
