ok, i picked up a nice vintage remington 572 ADL. the rear sight has been removed for a scope and the front blade is broke off. i like the classic look of the Marbles sights in Midway catalog. so, if the rear sight is adjustable from say .350 to .550, do i order the .450 front sight?
thanks

what, nobody? i've never ordered a set of adjustable sight before so i really don't know. the answer seems simple but i've been wrong before.

I don't know if this will help. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=13186/GunTechdetail/Sight_Height_Calculator

YOu have to measure the distance from the top notch to the bore center or the rear notch when its in the .450" position. Then you do the same at the front sight.
Or you can call up marbles or remington and ask what the stock front sight height is.
