Sight Dovetail Issue

So I'm thinking this isn't gonna work. Am I right? .0045" gap at the bottom of the notch.
Sorry for the crappy pic, but getting close enough to see it in the camera requires more macro than it has.

Scott, get a set of cheap feeler gauges and cut out a shim for it. Degrease the heck out of everything and dab on some Loctite 272, it wont go anywhere. Did you take any off the sight to get it knocked in?

None what-so-ever and they just slid right in. I didn't even grab the file out of the drawer. The front was the same way, except not near as bad. I was able hit the floor of the groove with an automatic center punch and it tightened up nicely.
These came with some RED stuff they are calling threadlocker. I know if I use some of the retaining compound it won't move. But I ain't selling these Novaks that came off just yet. This is just an experiment at this point.
