Ok guys I need input I check out both guns today the sig is 429 the m&p is 529. Both feel great in my hand the m&p felt a slit better than the sig but I have always wanted a sig should I go with it or the m&p for 100 bucks more?

Both guns have a 12 round capacity depending on which M&Pc you're looking at. The Sig sub-compact is a little heavier than the M&Pc. If the M&P feels better in the hand, that would be my choice. Can you rent them to shoot before you buy? The Sig does offer the flexibility to change calibers to .357 or .40, all on the same frame.
The M&P is available with and without a thumb safety, depending on your preference and the model selected.

The other issue seems to be price, the M&PC msrp is $569, the Sig is $642 w/ Nite Sights. You would be getting a much bigger discount on the Sig if that matters to you.

The M&P holds its value well, the Sig 250 does not. Here in GA, P250s are everywhere at very discounted prices...

I think the Sig P250 is a more versatile gun. In SC, at Academy Sports they are $429.00 everyday. What is not very well known(the salesman that sold me my gun didn't know that you can easily convert your gun to many different calibers simply by buying a caliber conversion kit. It is DA only but the trigger is very smooth.
With the caliber exchange kits you can switch to .45 cal, 40 cal, .357 Sig cal, 9mm, all is available for purchase by mail. I bought a 357 Sig Compact and 45 acp fullsize caliber exchange kit through the mail. No Fed forms to fill out. The FCU(fire control unit comes out of the polymer frame in one piece, the only part that is registered with serial #.) You also have a choice between subcompact, compact, and full size frames(between $30-$40 seperately but included in the kits ), all this from only one registered gun. Now that's versatility and I am amazed none of the other gun manufacturers didn't think of this. This is great for the highly regulated (commie)states where you have to register each gun. You can have one gun, but switch to a compact-concealed carry gun to a full size, duty or a home defense weapon in a matter of minutes. I pulled this off Youtube that explains it all.
