Shot Show Day 2 Preview

So - we made it through Day 1 of Shot Show. Needless to say I was not expecting this much walking. I spoke with a guy who was wearing a pedometer yesterday and he logged almost 6 miles of walking at the show. I don't walk 6 miles total during the week much less during 1 day.

Last night we decided to feast on some all you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse. We were joined by some fellow BoomerShooter members: Matt Hopkins from CZ, West Chandler from Team The Shooters Source, Jeremy Moore from The Shooters Source, and Jeremy Maddox from Gateway 3-Gun. After eating WAYYYY too much steak - we were all passed out by 10:30 pm. Go figure - in VEGAS and asleep by 10:30.

Today we plan to do much of the same as we did yesterday. Plan to do 3 - 4 photo updates throughout the day. At 6 we will be heading to the 3-Gun Nation Shoot Off and HOPEFULLY we will be able to take photos there.

How do you like the $20 sandwiches and $6 cups of coffee. I went last year and can say it's off the bucket list for now. Good luck to Jesse on the shoot off.

Press Room has free food, drinks, beer after 4, etc etc.

So far I'm liking it. It feels like Disney World for gun nuts!!

Were there a lot of TV's tuned in to Obama's press conference. I would think a few vendors might have an interest in what he was saying.

I didn't see any tv's so I didn't know. I'm sure it was on in the back rooms. But I did meet KurtM today nice guy. Going to watch Jesse feed his addiction tonight!

I wish I was there. I had my reservations and everything ready to go back in September. Then the darn wife ended up pregnant so I had to cancel everything.

So...I'm at work instead of SHOT Show.

I may or may not. I have only one ball and still knocked her up with one attempt. I think it's the milk man, cause it sure as hell isn't the mail man.
