On May 20th I was traveling to Louisville KY for a Job Interview. I stopped at a Service Station for a Soda and a snack. When I returned to my car I was accosted by three Youths (Of Color), who pushed me against the fender. One of them tried for my Wallet and Keys. When I resisted another one pulled a Pistol and shot me in the Stomach. I underwent 6 Surgeries to repair my Bowels and remove my right Kidney due to the traumatic damage. Now I am being Evicted because not only am I currently unemployed, I have accrued almost $60K in medical Bills.
When the Doctors finally release me to work, I will be homeless. My Vehicle was found by LMPD burnt to a Crisp. I need help to get some form of transportation to make my Therapy appointments, and keep a roof over my head.

This is a Friend of mine, not Me. We are trying everything including Churches and Local Charities. He is Not Totally disabled and they plan to release him from the Medical Center in short order, But because of the Injury, he was unable to make his work interview. Now after his Extended stay, his Landlord has started an Eviction Proceedings. As of July 1st, he is officially Homeless. The local Church has procured him lodging for 30 days upon discharge, but without Help, this is only a stop-gap measure. SSDI/Medicare paperwork has been submitted, but the time frame is more than 180 days for them to decide if they will Approve/Disapprove his Claim. His depression is growing every day contemplating the Future of living on the streets with a Colostomy bag and almost $70K in Medical bills. GOD knows we are trying everything.
