Shooting smaller to shoot more

Like some of the others, I regularly cast for pistols and have the stuff to cast for a couple rifles. It's a sad state of affairs when I can cast and load 45 bullets for about the price of a 22LR.

To the OP: I can only make about 6 or trips to the range a year anyway :-( so I still shoot the same calibers I always have except 22LR.

Oh I get it. I never cast bullets but I used to reload when I had my house but then I went back into the renting world. So not owning my own place anymore I am stuck buying ammo until I can once again buy a house here in SC. I know where the reloading guys are coming from here but it's just not an option for me at this time. I am just hoping to be able to find bulk 22 ammo faster than I burn it up. So far I've been able to do so. Starting out wit a few bricks stockpiled before things went nuts didn't hurt.
