Shooting at H&H

News reports say it was a gunshot wound to the head and the man died at the hospital. No idea right now if it was accidental or suicide.

Man what a crappy ordeal for everyone at the store to have to deal with! Any word on the type of firearm?

Really? Why go to a gun range to off yourself? Unless you wanted to hurt the business and the industry...
because if you don't own a gun, you can rent one

Maybe to rent a gun, cause you don't have one or can't get one?

Tony types faster :)

I can't imagine things being that bad that I would want to end it all. Sorry for the family and H&H that have to deal with this mess.

It seems we have these once or twice a year at our indoor ranges, there was a women that rented a gun shot her son in the back of the head then shot her self and left a note saying god told her this was the right thing to do. That is why i wish gun stores wouldnt rent gun's out to random people. I know everyone that rents a gun is not like this. I stop taking my son there when i seen three guys in there mid 20's trying to flip it around and holster it like an old cowboys movie. I walked over to them and asked if the gun was loaded and to stop. There repsonce to me was "yeah but the back strap saftey has to be engaged in order for it to fire, so mine my own business" needless to say i went to the owner and they where escorted out.

My thoughts are with the family of the gun men.

I think this happens more often than we think, I don't know if anyone has seen sunshine cleaning, but the opening scene is a guy doing something similar, then the next scene is the gunshop personell discussing how common it was. Its sad that this happens, they said the guy had come in several times, so who knows what changed.
