Shoot / No Shoot: Aggressive Driver

I would put it in drive, pull up 10 feet and stop to see if he comes after me, if he does, pull up another 10 feet to test his IQ, if he comes after me again, I would pull up another 10 feet and yell something at him while referrencing his IQ. I would keep doing that until I got him far enough away from his car then go back and let the air out of his tires, make sure the gas station does have an air compressor, if they do, borrow the air chuck for a few days and go home and eat a sandwich.

That's good stuff I saw a similar situation at the local Sonic back in 1997 a skinny 130 lb kid kept mouthing a grown man the guy caught up with the car and ripped the side window out. About two years ago I got a random subpoena, this guy got pulled over for a random traffic stop and this came up, I had to go to the district attorneys office because I was a witness, the "victims" grew up moved away case dismissed

I found myself in a situation similar a few years back

The difference was could not drive off as the drunk blocked me in.
To further compound the problem , I had no cell signal,and was bluffing a fake call.
He decided to leave.....

Scenario: You are driving along the interstate and notice an aggressive driver following very closely. You continue driving and see him pull alongside you and he is noticeably agitated and yelling at you about something. You ignore him and continue driving. You stop to get fuel and notice the same car parked and a man exiting the vehicle walking aggressively toward your vehicle yelling at you (you are still in your car) He approaches your window and is screaming obscenities at you about cutting him off and beating on your window demanding you get out

No multiple choices this time. What do you do?

I haven't read the entire thread, so my opinion come from a similar situation. I passed some guys on a two lane highway, and they got PO'd about it for some reason. Kept flashing lights, and tail gating for several miles. They finally backed off, and went on my way. Pulled into a small town with no LEO, and they came in to the same gas station while I was fueling.
The driver got out, and came at me cursing, etc. When he got to the back of the truck, I took the hose out of the tank and pointed it at him. That was about it. Had my CC, but I've never seen a law about brandishing a gas pump nozzle. No further problems.

Wish I had a zippo in the other hand, but don't smoke.

Well, from this scenario, it sounds like he hasn't crossed the threshold to shoot but I would definately have my gun in my hand. Even though we have Stand Your Ground, I would probably drive off if I could and he has not done any damage to my personal property. I would rather do that than having to sit and explain why I shot someone.

Proceed as normal, advising that he immediately stop beating on my property or charges will be filed; being prepared to take immediate action to stop the threat should the need arise. Although probably not needed, I would let him know that there is absolutely no way that I cut him off, unless he sped up while I was passing, suggesting that he get in his vehicle and leave immediately.

Half the time id drive off and smile caz I could care less, other half the time I'd get out and let him hit me a few times, maybe bloody my nose and then beat him senseless becaz well sometimes I need to release my anger

I don't know about the gas stations there, but I have been seeing quite a few cameras at our local stations. paritially due to the fact that they are really close to the Interstate and live up to the name of Stop and Rob (either direction). A phone picture with flash and keep the windows/doors up and locked. Calls to the P.D. are good, and it really helps having Dispatch on my phone for work related things too.


Wish I had a trunk monkey tho.
