Shiny new 5" FDE M2.0

Got a sweet deal on the 5" FDE 2.0. Trigger feels damn nice for a factory gun and the grip is much improved.

Hopefully I'll drag it out to a match if people wanna give her the village bicycle treatment.

On the 5", I believe so. Being that it's an option on the 4.25", it's likely easily removed on the 5".

They come from the factory with the thumb safety. Smith will send you plugs for free though; just waiting on mine. Though I kind of like the faux thumb-shelf.

What kills it for me is that they "fixed" the slide release. Now it's just a slide "catch". I considered slamming a mag home and the slide automatically dropping an added feature akin to the autoload feature on the old Browning Auto 5 shotguns. No 2.0s for me.
