I placed an order with them yesterday morning and it showed up today. I wasn't expecting that so close to the holiday. Shipping was very reasonable as well.

They are based in Stillwater and have great prices on just about everything. I'll be buying from them from now on. Does anyone know them? We should get them on the forum.

Jesse it was like $14 for half a case of .223, some carry ammo, and some slugs.

I wasn't too happy they didn't allow for local pickup. I lived in Stillwater and wasn't going to pay $10-15 to have it shipped possibly one block.

If it's as cheap as anywhere else on the internet and takes one day to show up, why not?

If I were to run an online ammo retailer out of my garage or shop, I wouldn't do local pickups either.

Unless you are ordering by the case or need odd stuff like I ordered that you can't find locally Wal Mart is close in price but you don't have to pay shipping.

I was sad that I had to pay tax

. My go to place for ammo has been ammunition to go but SAM's prices are lower. I guess I'll just bite the bullet on the tax since I'd rather support a local retailer anyway.

SGammo is a great place. I've bought cases of their LE buckshot and it's about half the price of other places.

Sam is good people and has some 'crazy' pricing when he gets bulk shipments in..............laws and taxes tend to make things difficult at times, but it's the price of being the buyer and seller.

His shipping prices are very fair IMO as well. better than the others at 24-32/1k.

SGAmmo deals from his shop in his backyard. I wouldn't want people knowing where I live and keep millions of rounds of ammunition. Hence why you can't pick up from him. His safety is his #1 priority.
