had some time today to button up this project, last week I stripped it bare (including the recoil spring) and cleaned it really good with brake cleaner then lubed where needed. Today I added a Nordic charging handle, bolt release button and shooters source single shell holder. the barrel from Midwest didn't fit my hand guard and I had to remove some material for it to work...wonder if it was really an M2 barrel in a M1 box. Either way its not a big deal, waiting on the mag spring from MRPS and it will be complete.
