Selling guns to pawn shops or cabelas

they will hit you pretty hard. If I recall it was 60% of value. I had one I went to Cabelas and to Gander and Gander gave me $150 more. It pays to shop it around.

Pawn shops are in the business of making money which means buying as cheap as possible to maximize & or guarantee profit.
Matt must have really caught someone on a good day, because even 50% of value is asking quite a bit from a pawn shop.
They're not looking for something to keep around the shop or pass on to their kids.
They want to buy something from you & sell it to the next guy that walks through the door for the highest margin they can, its a business.
Buying from you as cheap as possible guarantees a profit even when they have to reduce the cost below advertised just to move it.
That's the reason there's always wiggle room when you buy something from a pawn shop, they've figured that in already.

I've had good luck selling guns on gun forums. I haven't posted anything here because I don't live in Oklahoma anymore.
Not necessary to live in Oklahoma. This cat lady is nationwide.

I'd say global but good luck shpg guns outside the US.

I sell everything here, ar15.com or on gun broker. Trading in a gun is like trading In a car. You get screwed in exchange for the convience of not having to list, bump, and ship your gun.
