SCRAP Revolver Championship Match

Ok guys No. 343 let me down. I was counting on him to be at the 3gun match & teach me how to reload this thing but he didn't show.
So, I'm shifting gears & going for style points. I'm devoting the rest of my time to practing gun twirls for re-holstering.

Can't go wrong there......well maybe a little. No. 343 will give you a quick overview just before stage one. And well will make comments for you the rest of the match. :russian:

Tony, I feel bad for letting you down. I will be at the OKCGC range Tuesday through Thursday this week. Let me know if you can meet me there.

I'll try to break free. This gun twirling not going so good either.

So, Tony. I'm curious about this twirling.

Do you do that at each reload and if so, do you twirl before reloading or after? I've been wondering what I was doing wrong and maybe you could shed some light on the subject.

And then, are you twirling the pistol, or just the moonclip?

Per Bubber's comment above about commentary at each stage......That's like a requirement at a SCRAP match. If it wasn't going to be like that, it wouldn't be SCRAP! :sarcastichand:

hadn't decided yet, like I was saying above it's all style points unless I can get this reloading thing figured out.
Hopefully No.343 can help me out.

The revo guys are something else. I have had Kurt, Curly, and Scott all offer to either lend me a complete rig, or let me share one on match day.

Fellow shooters are awesome!

Hey Revo Shooters, it's getting close to the deadline for entry into the SCRAP Revolver Championship. We need your applications so we can estimate the numbers for lunch and stuff. Entries postmarked after next Friday will cost extra money so just needed to bump this thread. Make sure you get your applications in before the deadline. We'll accept the extra money, but surely you have something better to spend that money on, so come on get it in the mail.

Jonny Wadcutter is the one receiveing the applications so I don't know off the top of my head. I can check with him tomorrow and PM you when I know. Or I can PM you his contact info and let you check for yourself. If it's in the mail, (and isn't coming from New Jersey or NY) I'm sure we'll get it. Sorry! Friend of mine waiting for his revo to ship from S&W Pro Shop for this match and I told him today it might be six weeks before they have electricity to print the shipping label.

Sorry, thats the best I can offer at the moment.

There is a perfect weekend to have this match. That weekend is between deer muzzleloader AND rifle season. This year, you are having it on opening weekend of rifle season.

Did you get mine?

I checked with Jonny Wadcutter today and he will be sending e-mail messages to all those who have mailed in their forms and money. You are on his list Chris.

i don't know if it's good to be on "johnny Wads" list LOL

playing Revolvers in Memphis this weekend.... tuning up for the OK Revo Championships.....

I'm getting into high gear for this already. Well more like a quick waddle anyway. Any idea of the round count. I have about 200 rounds loaded and getting ready to load some different calibers. Ray Ray, any ideas?

I still have enough left over from Memphis to shoot a few matches

A top notch Revo Man like yourself will probably only need the 120 actual rounds to shoot this match. I on the other hand am going to enjoy my day and probably shoot a few more than that.

Actually we're looking at 120 round count for this match (If you're perfect). Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I've been away but now I'm back.
