Scope Power Lever

I have a Leupold Var-II 2x7 scope that I love but the power adjustment dial is tight. I would like to get a power throw lever for it but can't seem to find one that is for my particular model. Are there some out there that would fit my scope (like adjustable ones)? What all measurements do I need to consider if I were going to buy one built for a different option and put it on my Leupold? Does anyone have any good ideas or plans on how to make one?

Breakaway coaster will fit it and they come 2 in a pack for roughly $20... I've been using one on my comp rifle for a year now and have zero issues.
