A while ago, I created a pamphlet for spreading the word about how South Carolina can get permitless carry and restaurant carry, but never had a chance to share it with anyone.

Note:
In parts of the pamphlet there are comparisons between South Carolina's gun laws and other states' gun laws. I just updated the pamphlet to take into account that the Oklahoma licensed open carry law goes into effect November 1st. In that aspect, the pamphlet's info about Oklahoma isn't valid until November 1st.

Anyway, if you see anything that needs fixing or small recommendations, just let me know. Though, I don't feel like spending much more time on this, as my family is looking to go off grid soon. We're going to be spending a lot of time focusing on that shortly. So, maybe I can send anyone that's interested the editable source document if they want to take over this pamphlet in the future.

This is a tri-fold pamphlet, meant to be printed out two-sided and folded appropriately.

I provided a link below to where I'm hosting the pamphlet:

Great job, I love what you're doing.

My only comment, and this may be a more broad topic, is that legislation like this will more easily be changed in this state with small steps at a time, rather than huge, drastic, "all at once" changes. I know the pamphlet is to inform people of the problems with SC legislation and gun rights, and I'm kind of steering away from that a little bit. If we fight for restaurant carry and get it, then fight for open carry and get it, then permitless carry...you see the point. It might be easier to get bits and pieces passed here and there until the overall goal is achieved rather than proposing a huge legislation change that seems "too extreme" that'll never see the light of day. House members may be more willing to get behind something if it doesn't seem too slanted in one direction, making them look extreme in the process. Their #1 goal, unfortunately, is job security.

Following up on 11B's comments, In the Restaurant Carry topic area, my gut instinct is that this statement portrays the CWP carrier as willing to break the law, just as those who we chose to defend ourselves against will do. While it may be true, it may not be something you want to put into the mind of John Q Public. Just my opinion.

"This law doesn?t stop people who are determined to have the means to
protect themselves and their family, either."

I do have a question too, Why was the main ?gun rights? group in South Carolina ordered to halt operations, by court order?

Something about the rules and following them:

The pamphlet looks good. It is possible that the paragraph referencing criminals carrying despite the law may be better left at that. The law abiding follow the law after all :)

That would be Grassroots. Has something to do with an internal fight about access to the membership list. More to the point - It's a fight for control...

Gun Owners of South Carolina (GOSC) is the OFFICIAL NRA State Association. Grassroots, while active and important, was just another gun org.

GOSC is very tightly embedded with the Legislature (Mike Pitts is a very active member of GOSC).

I do concur with taking the negative comment about Grassroots out of the pamplet - Why show our dirty laundry.
