Many of the nfa crimes are only found after investigation of other crimes. They're then added on to the list of charges. But that said, lots of full auto violations are caught by Game Rangers. People will do stupid elephant dung when they think nobody else is around.

I guess I don't know the laws elsewhere, but here in Nebraska it is legal to purchase, but as soon as you mix it together it is illegal to possess without an explosive permit. Dumb I know.
