Safariland Open Class holster

Hello to all,

I recently got a Safariland open class holster for my 2011. The holster has a lock on it. Every time I move, I lock the holster down. Is anyone else using this holster and am I being over paranoid about my gun falling out of the holster? I have done a little jumping around with it unloaded and I haven't had it fall out. So my question is with it unlocked, and loaded, am I able to run from station to station during the stage or do I need to hit the lock? It takes time to lock it, and if it is unnecessary to lock it, I can save some time.

Definitely lock it, I've seen a couple of them fall out at matches.

I have seen a couple fall out when running as well. Usually when uneven ground trips someone up, our they pivot quickly. I use a CR Speed WSMII which can be a pain to reholster but it rediculously secure when it's locked down.

Sounds good guys. Getting a match DQ would suck and a falling loaded gun is never good either. I'll do what I have been doing and keep everyone safe.
