Why don't you advertise your business like a regular shop instead of getting on a forum and making a bunch of BS comments on old threads real quick to get your post count up to post in the classifieds?

I followed the instructions... hate?
OK, here's the issue:

generally, classifieds sections on forums like this are intended for regular users to sell to each other as a side benefit of forum membership. The minimum post count is a guideline meant to ensure that people actually participate in discussions before they can use the classifieds section. Posting 10 zero-content, barely-comprehensible posts are a pretty blatant violation of the spirit of the rules.

you might be technically within the rules but people will give you elephant dung and you shouldn't expect anyone to have a positive impression of your store.

There are businesses that advertise here but they pay for the privilege of doing so, rather than skirting the rules to get free advertising.

Dang if you would have just told us what business you own we may have allowed you to post some of your stuff. I'm guessing that your place is the sign on I35 I see when heading north.

You guys are bullies...not much else to say
I'm honestly not trying to bully you. I'm letting you know why you're getting pushback.

The gun forum world is full of people who are Bad At The Internet so I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and be nice.

Yep, Kinda unfair to the shops that pay to advertise & sell their goods here.
If you'd like info on becoming a forum sponsor, we'd be happy to provide it.

There are lots of people that go around the internet selling their wares on internet forums that don't pay to do so if required. They are called spammers, and don't enjoy a great reputation around the internet.
You would have got a better reception had you introduced yourself as a gun shop owner, joined the community in public discourse about shooting, firearms and competitions without trying to slip in the AR.
Put your big boy pants back on and join in with some meaningful gun discussion. Once you become an established member in good standing, and it "slips out" that you have a gun store, you won't get the negative comments.

I understand what you are saying... but I don't own a gun shop... I am a webmaster associated with someone who does sell... Sorry for the trouble
