I do this, I also do it on 3 plates with shotgun and do a 12 rnd reload in the middle but only put one rnd per plate to save money lol

I do several variations on 2-2-2 and el pres. 2-2-2 drill at 50 yards with IPSC/USPSA scoring is a nice drill also. And then change shooting distances to see how the hit factors change.
