We have discussed this before but I wanted to start a thread just to gauge interest in an Oklahoma Self-Defense Act Refresher Class. I Don't know exactly when it would be (maybe Fall) or where (likely OKC area)

The Self-Defense Act of Oklahoma has changed many times since some of us first received our "Handgun License" (Get used to calling it that, cause that's what it is now). Major changes happened when they included open carry, but even as recently as 2013, the SDA underwent some minor changes. We all owe it to ourselves and family to keep up with these changes.

This [to be created] class would cover the same information that your original Self-Defense Act class did and more. There will not be any shooting since this is NOT the class you take to get your "Handgun License".

Even if you haven't applied for your "Handgun License" yet, this class would still be good information for anyone who plans on getting one.

Let me know if you would be interested. No commitment required

I didn't learn anything the first time. How about I just send you $35 and send me a refresher patch or something.

This is something that everyone who has had their "Handgun License" more than a year, needs to take.

More details are coming....................

My handgun class instructor talked a lot about all the gunfights he's been in.
I think his name was Gecko, or something like that.

Is there an actual attorney or LEO that has a full understanding of the SDA in its current form going to conduct the class?

I'd like to know the credentials of the instructor.
