Red Neck Tactical Rifle Class w/Kurt Miller and/or Trapr Swonson

Well I know it has been a bit of short notice....but I only have 5 people signed up right now. I will go ahead and do the class but if this is the best I can expect I am quiting doing any kind of training in Oklahoma. It is funny and I have said it before, all I have to do is go 4 hours south and I can fill a 20 person class. Anyway this will be a great class as I refuse to go out with a wimper! You might even get some extra stuff that usually no one gets...Ask Chris Anderson who got a small tidbit today while we were talking about comps!

You guys had better take advantage of this. If my wife hadn't taken a new job and been back from 2 weeks of training for one day on the Saturday this class starts on I would be all over it. I rarely talk to Kurt that I dont get a tidbit that is worth writing in the front page of my range log (Thanks for that by the way Kurt).

If didnt think I would be divorced by the end of the day Saturday, I would be number 6 in this class (and I did still consider it :) ). It is going to be a shame if I have to drive 5-6 hours for Kurt's next class because we take him being right around the corner for granted. Get signed up people!

When is the latest you have to know Kurt? Could I show up on Sat with $400 cash in hand, or do you have to have a concrete number before the class? I really am sorry I am so on the fence about this. Its just the summer time is really the busiest time for me. I know its not all about me. I want to take this class really bad.

You got my check, right?

Spiff Yes Doc J.J. no.

To the rest, you can show up however it will delay the start of the class as I set up more targets and figure out a bit of scheduleing. If the people that already signed up are good with that, cool if not y'all need to work that out with them.

Wormy, Eric, Bratch, I sure understand where you guys are at and you are welcome to show up, but just a little notice would be nice so I can plan for it...Like let me know Friday Night, and bring "penalty beer"

For your planning purposes, I will be there. I don't know why my check hasn't made it but surely it will before next weekend. If not, I'll still be there with cash in hand.

Dr. J.J. it got here today, Man it takes longer from Pryor to here than from Wyoming to here. Anyway you are good to go. See you then

BTW I plan on meeting at 8:30 a.m. on the action pistol side at the sign in shack for those who shoot at OKC if you don't know where that is it is 1/2 mile north of Sorgum Mill Road on Hiawasse. It is the second dirt road on the left. drive to the top of the hill and the sign in shack is on you right. Thanks Kurt

It's looking good for me to get to go, but I should know for sure tomorrow or Monday. I'll be using irons and/or an aimpoint, so I just hope I can see the 300 yd target let alone hit it.

Norm, I 'm sure Kurt will have irons on his rifle, so seeing the targets shouldn't be an issue. We are both big proponents of target visibility.

Trapr

BTW, As of yesterday we have 3 slots left for High Plains.

Kurt, approximately what time will your class be over with both nights? I know that's probably a hard question to answer but my future in laws are coming this weekend, of all weekends, and I have to put in some face time.

not trying speak for Kurt, but with the 3gun class, we were done around 6:30-7:00 each night.

Kurt,
Count me in for this class. I'll have a check in the mail tomorrow for you. I want to make sure I learn the correct way before I start developing bad habits.
Also, are you going to do a maintenance class on Friday?

Kenny Gant

No, no pre-class maintainance class, but we will be covering it in class, matter of fact right after you sign the waver, hence the "bring a full set of pads and a bottle of oil! KurtM
