I understand you can do with it what you like heck he won it! But it would have been really nice if we would of had the first shot at buying it. Hell without this forum he wouldn't have it!!

It will last - My dad won the rifle through the random giveaway - he does not shoot 3-gun and through miscommunication was told to not upset anyone for selling it right away to sell it elsewhere. He is trying to sell the rifle so he can buy his first STI so last night I put it on AR15.com.

If the rifle would have been put on here for $2250 people would have complained about the price and how he won and is ungrateful. Fact of the matter is that is how the market is these days. He didn't want to upset any people here so it was put on other sites. It was a lose lose situation but for him getting a custom STI pistol is what he really wants. In the end he just wanted to donate to help the site - winning the rifle just helped him pay for a pistol that he always wanted but may not have ever been able to purchase due to the price.

FYI - I sold the Loki lower I won elsewhere - you hate to admit it but due to our limited membership currently - sometimes to move something fast you have to post it where it will get the most visibility.

I don't think I should put Brandon in the middle of this "brew" so let ME answer to the members of Boomershooter. I won this rifle with a single donation to the cause. A donation I made with absolutely no intent on ever winning the rifle or any of the other prizes but for what the raffle was intended for to help our fellow members. Prior to this I have never won anything like it before in my whole life so it was very unique. I do not shoot 3-Gun and if for the fact that I have a mid-quality AR which I have had for some time I would have kept the rifle. Being an optimist I felt that the rifle would be better served in the hands of someone who shot 3-Gun matches and would appeal to such an individual and provide me with funding for an STI 2011 that I would otherwise never afford. We all know what the POTUS has done to the gun market and as the result of that many have done quite well moving certain firearms, ammunition and gun parts.

I chose not to put it on the Boomer forum because of this very action, I would have likewise been criticized for asking my selling price, what I HOPE to get for the rifle but not necassrily what I will get for the rifle.

As some know I live in Louisiana and I always have enjoyed being a member of Boomershooter if only from a distance. I enjoy reading about the exploits of those members on here whom I have never met and probably never will but feel somewhat of a kindred spirit. As a matter of fact Tony recently handled a transaction for me with one of the members whom I think I treated very fare in the deal because he was a fellow Boomer member.

So with that being said, if you ARE interested in the rifle then send me a PM and we will discuss but understand this is not a brother-in-law deal it is a business transaction. Both parties must walk away feeling good about the purchase/sale.

Like Matt, I was just bummed to see it listed so fast. Heck, charge twice that - it should sell, that is one badass rifle.

It's not really a big deal. Just sad to see it go.
I hope someone from here gets it.
I just hope to see it being used in a match sometime

I suggested that it be sold on gun broker. It would have brought $3,000.

I have the same dilemma. Thinking about selling my Billet Loki. I would live to sell it to someone local for the $1500-1800 its worth in a normal market but right now it's work $2500-3000 on gun broker.

If you are going to sell, today is definitely the day to do it I sold two low end AR's, my trusty side cocker & 3 AK's to fund a long rang rifle build.
So Walter I hope you get top dollar and congratulations on winning.
