Anyone have any experience with Raven Concealment? http://www.ravenconcealment.com/

I'm looking for a holster I can carry my G19 with the light attached and there aren't many options out there for the TLR-3. Exchanging the light is out of the question since it was a gift from the wife. It is the first gun related gift she has bought for me on her own. Im not crazy about the 18 week turn around but I would like to have the option of carrying with the light attached.

This is the holster I'm looking at. http://www.ravenconcealment.com/holsters/phantom-modular-holsters/phantom-light-compatible-holster

Nope. I have one RCS holster. Its good... but not worth the ****ign outrageous wait.

Look at ArmordilloConcealment.com

Great stuff, well up to par with Raven, ALSO cheaper, and faster turn around times. Still a little bit of a wait but near as bad as RCS. Tell Booth I sent ya.

That style of holster is good for light attachments, I have two for my M&P40 and X300 light.

Thanks Wormy Ill look into them.

Chambers I PMd Troy a few days ago to see if he could do one for a gun with a light and haven't heard back from him yet.

I have a Raven for my M&P with a TLR-1. I like it for outside the waistband carry but I was real dissapointed with the IWB hooks. I would not recommend them for IWB. For me it was not worth the wait. Go with something from Troy.

Also look at www.x-concealment.com. I have the M holster with a mag/flashlight pouch. Price was reasonable, they are constantly running sales, and they ship within the week you order!

Funny thing is these types of holsters are the easiest to make, yet I hate making them.

I have a Raven, without a light, and I enjoyed it...before I ordered from Troy and got stuck with Triple Crown Holsters. :-)

Now I have several, with and without lights, even in the Raven style (called a COC Holster by Troy) and I can't seem to get enough of them.

One of the big differences is that the Raven-style doesn't have a tension screw to help with retention of the gun like Troy's OWB holsters have. I actually took my Raven to Troy to have him see if he could get my Raven to retain my gun better. I shot several training courses with my Raven and over time it had loosened up a little on my gun. With Troy's holsters they actually feel like the kydex is thicker and the hardware included allows for the retention to be adjusted.

I'd suggest ordering one from Troy and seeing if you like it or not. If you don't like it you won't have it posted for more than a day before it sells itself.

I would post a picture of some of my holsters but I am at work and don't have the OWB w/light in my car.
