It depends on where you're shooting.
For example at OKCGC, as long as you start with 8+1 & you're not using a red dot it's still in tactical (limited) division.

I shoot mine in Tac Optics with a f/o site on it & 8+1 in my start mag.

OKC gun club is the only place I know if that uses that rule allowing downloaded box fed gun in tactical. Kurt is ahead if the times with this rule. I think it's a good one.

That rule makes me excited for when I can start shooting again!

I remember a couple times I used my saiga 12 at the OKCGC and I had to shoot open because of it.

Hmmm....I didn't know that, I was just going by what I read in the USPSA three gun rules. Now I have another one to consider besides the Mossberg 930 and Remmy 1100.
