I'm not sure I get your meaning from this statement.

Why contribute, how much more of my income, when, to whom, and for what? Our government gets free money from You, Me, and Most of the people on the forum. They have no skin in the game, just free money that they have to spend so as they can get even more free money next year.

You want to fix it? Get everybody to write a check out quarterly or yearly to the National, State, and Local governments, see how long it takes to "fix it". Socialist attitudes, that is.

I thought he was being sarcastic . Anyone with a functioning brain knows socialism is nothing but a Ponzi scheme that eventually blows up without new money . In the mean time it destroys initiative and self reliance .
