Hey guys, sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum to post this, but I thought it might get a few more looks...
I've been interested in participating in USPSA for awhile, and finally had a free saturday to go check it out. I went to the match yesterday (just to observe) to see how it works, etc. I didn't get there in time to see the signup process, as I wandered around driving by the silouette and plinking ranges until I asked where the match was... :scratchhead:
Anyway, I hung out for a couple hours, and it looks like a lot of fun! Saw all sorts of guns, ages, and skill levels... Made me feel a lot more comfortable about being able to participate with what I got.
Some questions I have:
1. is the amount of stations dependent upon how many show up? I.E if 100 people show up, will they make squads of 10 for 10 scenarios, or if 50 people show up, will there be squads of 5 for 10 stations, or squads of 10 for 5 stations. Just trying to figure out how squad size is determined. Seems there were 8 or so in some, and 15-18 in others.
2. This could be an excellent excuse to get a Dillon press that I've been admiring! I didn't stick around til the end, but how is the brass handled? Club property, police your own, free for all?
Thanks in advance!
Oh, and special thanks to the dark haired lady in the lime green shirt that took the time to answer my dumbass questions! It was much appreciated!
