PSA opening soon in Mt. P

I'm glad they are coming to the Chas area but not about being in Mt. pleasant. I don't understand why all the new big places open over there? So much room in the north area but they would rather stuff it in an already heavily congested area. Oh well, I'll go once in a while I guess,money if I need several things. Not making a 30 mile drive for heavy traffic and a P-Mag.

I heard the town said no and that was the end of it. Then today I heard a commercial advertising a new mt. P location. Not sure where it going.

It was a commercial I heard as well, yesterday.

Well their were two meetings and I heard both meeting voted against psa coming so I was very surprised to hear the commercial.

I believe the NO votes were for a gun range.

I haven't heard the commercial, does it say gun range too? Or just a store?

Here's a story from the July 22 Post and Courier. I'm going to try to get it straight from them because the story say a store and range will be in Summerville but I heard the city council said no.

I have not heard the commercial on the radio, but tonight on a Charleston radio station, I did hear something like - broadcasting from the Palmetto State Armory studios...

Let us know what you find out about the opening day in Mt Pleasant. Looks like we will have to wait until sometime in 2015 for the range to open in Summerville.

No date announced yet. Radio ads keep saying "opening soon".

Gander Mountain is opening this week in North Charleston. They are usually a little pricey but have a huge selection. It will be nice to have somewhere to go and window shop in person and then order online since I refuse to even set foot in ATP.

Supposed to be summerville store and mt pleasnt store. But i believe the people put a stop to the range in the mt pleasnt store. There are 5 or 6 job openings for the mt pleasnt store listed on their career site.

The coming soon (2015) sign is up in Summerville! The abandoned old Save More Foods building @ Berlin G Myers and 78. About a block from where HHB's store front was.

Went today and picked up some stuff for my .308 build. Not bad. Prices about what I expected. Got a little discount fur military. Ammo prices didn't seem too bad and there was plenty. Summervle store scheduled for 3rd quarter 2015 opening and the location mentioned above. It was a 35 mile drive to get there so unless we're in that area for other reasons, I can wait for the new store since it is walking distance from the house.

Went there Sat. afternoon with a couple of friends, had to keep a real hold on myself (not buy anything major). Not too bad on some of there ammo and gun prices, I just picked up some primers and a box of 454 casull. also where can I let go some rimfire exploding targets? My landlady won't be too thrilled with those. :?
