Well looks like I won a private VIP shopping experience in the un-opened PSA store in Mt. P tonight from 6-9.......

I shared their facebook status yesterday and was selected as 1 of 10 to be a part of it. Guess I'm finishing this AR10 earlier than I thought I was!

Very nice. I think this is the first time I ever felt regret for not having a facebook. Have they posted any sales or deal they are going to have at the grand opening? I plan on joining the masses Saturday morning and hoping I can get a decent full size 9mm pistol at a good price. I'm tempted to go ahead and grab the FNS they have on sale but would rather avoid shipping and transfer fee if possible.

Congrats!

For anyone else I would advise you to go to the grand opening. I went to the one in greenville at it was great. Lots of give aways and good deals. At least two people won fire arms and one got optics and I was there less than 2 hours. I went again on the range grand opening few people were there, ended up with free range time with free rentals (full auto) and free ammo! That's right free ammo, shot unlimited for 30 min or so. I was there just to browse and got invited in made sure I made some purchases on the way out. I still hate the stores don't honor online prices, at least consistently. But on the other hand the store gets some deals not found online too just got to know how to find them.
Again congrats on the VIP tour, I bet your in for a real treat!

Wasn't all I was expecting.

Apparently they had an invitation only VIP "party" for sales reps, Mt. P. mayor, Mt. P. swat/police/fire, DNR guys, industry people, friends and family. There were probably 200 people there. They did some door prize raffles for a PA-10, PA-15, a compound bow, and a couple of fishing rods. They did NOT Have the AR10 parts I wanted in stock though, so I got out of there for under $100.....

They have a good selection of long guns, including some seriously nice bolt guns, safari style heirloom rifles. I lusted over a Kimber mountain rifle in 308.....so sexy. Handguns were plentiful.

Ammo stock was great, lots of cases of 9/45/223, "decent" prices, nothing to write home about. 22LR was plentiful but high priced, 500 round golden bullet bricks for 44.99, same as online.

I'm not kidding when I say there were 40 people there WORKING for them. Must have been 30 gun salesmen.

Lots of hunting and fishing clothing, LOTS of high end fishing stuff, G-loomis and the like. Lots of lures and stuff as well. A small archery shop also. They also had a decent selection of knives and optics as well as reloading stuff.

Basically everything is the same as the other stores. Products are marked MSRP or slightly less. ONe guy behind the gun counter said they would price match online stuff, one said they wouldn't. They are all brand new to the policies and stuff so I would imagine that they have that ironed out by Saturday. The place is really nice, they have LOTS of room to grow. They (the owner and managers) were very humble and thankful for everyone that came out. They genuinely seem happy to be a part of the community over there and hope to grow around town.
