How do you like the pistol grip stock?

I really like it.
Very comfortable to shoot from the shoulder, hip, or bipod.
308 is not a heavy recoiling round but the rubber butt pad makes it quite pleasant to shoot.

Not checkering, it's a joint where the grip was attached to the body.
I had two of these stocks and both were like that.

Thanks for the correct designation- I had the right idea, wrong letter! I had read about them back in the late 1970s...

I guess I AM getting too old now.
